Here is the new Cowboy Indian Bear video that was done for us by Gnarly Enterprises. Just like the Soft Reeds one we debuted last week it en captures summer so perfectly. This was shot at a County Fair in Rolla, MO over the 4th of July.

It was time for a tumblr update! I really like this theme that I purchased from Obox Designs. If you want to clean up your theme and get something classy I highly recommend. Look for a new TRM site based around a Obox Wordpress install.

Also what happened to Weezer after Pinkerton? I know Matt Sharp left for The Rentals and all but seriously they went to the crapper. I still think Pinkerton is a pretty near perfect pop record.

Here is the debut video from Soft Reeds. It was shot in one take over the course of 20 minutes and then sped up to be in time with the song. This Affair has been one of my favorite summer songs of the year and this video is a great summer video.

Capybara / En Route

After a recommendation on The Record Machine’s blog from “Baths”, I decided I needed to check out this KC band. I was pleasantly surprised and had to pick up both their “Try Brother” album and the “One Too Many Mornings” soundtrack. It was only $8, and you should get them both. After hearing the soundtrack, now I’m going to have to watch the movie.

Anyway, this is a perfect relaxing Friday song.
