Reusch missed the melodies. I asked whether, if Embryonic had been recorded by an unsigned indie band, he would sign that band to his label based on that album. He said no.
(Via the Pitch) Kind of harsh quote but the new album outside of a few songs really doesn’t grab me a ton. Don’t get me wrong I still think it is great but if in an unsigned band sent me their first record I wouldn’t flip out over it.
