I am glad to see this happen so organically. And Brian is right. This is the perfect song for a Friday.
Capybara / En Route
After a recommendation on The Record Machine’s blog from “Baths”, I decided I needed to check out this KC band. I was pleasantly surprised and had to pick up both their “Try Brother” album and the “One Too Many Mornings” soundtrack. It was only $8, and you should get them both. After hearing the soundtrack, now I’m going to have to watch the movie.
Anyway, this is a perfect relaxing Friday song.

Here is the new video for the Motorboater single Je Mange Titties. This song goes along with the heat wave of a summer we have been having. Really who doesn’t love going out to the park and trying to drink a gallon of milk as quickly as you can.

I really love Bath’s! Musically his record is one of my favorites of the year so to have him name check Capybara in a big interview like that just makes me love him even more. Go buy his record right now!

Twin Sister at the Replay.
They lived up to the expectations I had. I don’t think I had any idea at how young and fresh faced they are. It is really cool to see a good young band get the kind of attention. It makes me feel like they are going to keep growing and get better and better.
saw twin sister in lawrence last night. the music was great. the girl on the mic doesn’t have eyebrows. naturally we got distracted by that.
